Job Purpose & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Strategic Demand & Supply Planning team in South Asia to manage both FG and RM Planning.

  • Responsible for fulfilment of demand and supply by defining, scoping, managing and delivering smaller often single discipline projects and/or contributing to large multidisciplinary projects.

  • Plan shipment and production required materials to support agreed plan and orders according to delivery schedules. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient supply in the pipeline and ensurethe availability of materials as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.

  • Support stable operations of local and upstream source plants to accomplish goals.

  • Support and participate actively in EHS/ISO activities.

  • Lead and manage team to support Demand & Supply Planning withsales forecast of Specialties products in SAP APO for the monthly S&OP incollaboration with Commercial Managers, Business leaders, Product Management, making demand adjustments based on outcome of Demand Reviews.

  • Collaborate with E&BS to keep abreast of changing Outlook Targets Vs Billed & Position (including its validation). Also, support data preparation for Demand Reviews and Operations Calls.

  • Responsible to justify the Monthly Demand prioritization or reduction and Supply Fulfillment Risk.

  • Key contact for Pacific Specialty Product coordination with Product Managers or Global Supply Planners to drive action plans for maximizing supplies across the Globe.

  • Represent Global Supply Calls team for urgent escalation and problem solving for team issues.

  • Communicate Official Plan to Master Planning team and other required stakeholders for downstream operations to action.

  • Update, adhere and support ISO initiative and programs and changes when required.

  • Create and implement standard operating procedures related to this role.

  • Measure forecast accuracy, identify issues by region, product type, and top missed items and drive actions with stakeholders to improve demand & supply reliability.

  • Manage, coach, develop team to perform to expectations, and grow team to excel to the next level.

  • Support SCM projects and lead enhancement where necessary.


  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or relevant discipline, MBA an advantage.

  • With at least 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

  • Fluent in English language.

  • Exposure to Planning, Management, SCM, Logistics, Customer Service and Finance related training courses.

  • Ability to make sound decisions at critical time.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Any ERP systems related (SAP, etc.).

  • IT knowledge preferred (MS Office, especially Excel).

  • People Management.

  • Conflict Management.

  • Critical thinking and analysis skills.
