Job Purpose & Responsibilities Job Purpose & Responsibilities:
Role Purpose and Major responsibilities include:
Own the creation and tracking of the quarterly demand plan for assigned commercial units
Communicate plan and status throughout quarter to Sales Development Leaders, Regional General Managers and Operating Unit leaders
Statistically forecast SKU level demand for products to fulfill customer demand
Determine what products to stock in inventory to meet business goals for service, working cash and cost
Lead or be team member on projects to drive improvements in service, cash, or cost
Analyze the quarterly demand plan [capacity out since we dont do capacity analysis] to identify actions needed to attain and maintain lead time / service targets
Track weekly cross business unit demand performance to plan and raise / take action on significant variations to the plan
Own the linkage with Materials Management to insure optimal inventory levels for forecasted SKUs
Own the linkage with Logistics to communicate the impact of the plan or changes in the plan
Requirements Education/Experience Requirements :
Demonstrated leadership, team building, and organizational skills Proven communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization
-Strong knowledge of SAP, APO Module
Demonstrated analytic and project management skills Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and execute to deadlines Flexible in scheduling around quarterly planning process able to work nights / weekends during this time due to communications with global teams
Quality / Detail oriented
