Job Purpose & Responsibilities As the home of unique offerings within SABIC, the Specialties Strategic Business Unit is focused on challenging technology endeavors that positively impact the way the world travels, communicates, works and lives. This SBU provides unique offerings such as high heat resins, functional compounds and additives, specialty fluids, nanotechnology and thermoplastics composites to industries such as Additive Manufacturing, Consumer & Industrial, Electronics, Healthcare, Mass Transportation, Automotive and Water Management.

Role Purpose:

The Issue Resolution Analyst uses analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand business operations, processes and activities. Analysts are responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing, recommending and implementing solutions to solve the problems.

Major Responsibilities Include:

Help develop and implement a strategy responsible for driving improvement in overall measurements of Issue Resolution

Facilitate root cause/corrective action communication with the sales and customers

Takes ownership of the customer issues and provides complete end-to-end issue resolution.

Makes decisions and manages cases within guidelines to resolve internal/external customer issues expeditiously

Develop and facilitate a strong operating rhythm with strategic business leaders to communicate process improvements

Strong influencing skills with ability to institute positive change and sustainable solutions

Strategic Analysis and Reporting, giving feedback and implementing recommendations in line with strategy

Perform the analysis to recommend and implement process improvement solutions across customer fulfillment team (ie. customer service, sales, supply chain)

Requirements Education/Experience Requirements:

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

3+ years customer service, sales, process improvement or relevant experience

Proven organization skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be a self-starter with the ability to assess situations quickly

Strong problem solver with RCCA mindset

Project Management and Continuous process Improvement skills

Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills

MS Excel, MS Access, Business Objects/Query experience

SAP experience preferred

Lean Six Sigma Skills preferred
