Job Purpose & Responsibilities Role Purpose:

Promote the use of SABIC materials and enhance the overall customer use experience in a variety of Additive Manufacturing processes through application development and by defining new product needs and processing solutions. Develop new markets and applications for SABIC printable materials in Fused Deposition Modeling and Selective Laser Sintering. Set goals aligned to business strategy and execute technology oriented commercial activities. Feedback customers voice and CTQs to global product marketing and technology team and drive new product development with strong leadership. Work together with Value Creation, Customer Fulfillment, GApT, T&I, and Product teams to expand current and future business.

Major responsibilities include:

Builds relationships and establishes credibility with technical decision makers at Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Service Bureaus to position SABIC as a preferred supplier/partner for Additive Manufacturing materials and solutions.

Supports new specifications at customers via application design / concept development, material validation trials, and leveraging SABIC GApT and T&I resources.

Leads and manages technical programs at customers with the intent of winning new business.

Collaborates with Value Creation, Customer Fulfillment and Product teams to support the processing and technical specification of SABIC materials at key customers.

Understands and interprets application requirements of new opportunities and proposes new / existing material and process solutions based on clients needs and company delivery capability. Clear understanding of Additive Manufacturing processes including Fused Deposition Modeling and Selective Laser Sintering.

Acts as a contact point between customers, project team, T&I, and GApT, to come up with practical solutions to respond to clients needs. Lead validation of product in downstream processes.

Support high-level cost estimation / budgeting through material benchmarking and competitive tear down analysis. Support value pricing by capturing value gains in downstream processes.

Requirements Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelors degree or above in the following majors or related field: Mechanical Engineering or Polymer science.

Knowledge of the Additive Manufacturing market and printing processes including Fused Deposition Modeling and Selective Laser Sintering.

Ability to work independently and to effectively engage across functional and regional boundaries.

Strong interpersonal skills including good command of oral and written English.
